Riding Unicorns with Kenzlee - Hillary Pair Photography

I love love love Imagination Portraits! I get to work with great kids and I get to create something unique and amazing. Do you know what else? Kids love them too! Why? Because the get to play a recreate something they love. It's not just a regular session. No, sit her like this, turn this way; we get to play!

This Imagination Session was great! Miss Kenzlee's mom entered her into a giveaway I ran. I had three great winners and Kenzlee and her mamma were so excited to win.

Kenzlee is a unique little girl. When I first met her she was not shy at all. She was so curious about all the things that I brought to our meeting. She is very cute, spunky and inquisitive.

Look at that face! Is she not the cutest!

I also go the great pleasure of meeting and photographing her bff/cousin Leo. He knew what he was doing! Hs is a rockstar model!

The two of them together were a blast! Look how much fun they are having.

I also go to photograph and with this sweet little man!

Kash has the cutest chunky cheeks I have ever seen!

I love to photograph kids. They are so much fun!

Kenzlee is a unicorn lover. I mean, what little girl isn't at one point in time?

In order to get the shot I needed, my assistant/daughter had to get on all fours like a unicorn. Then we had Kenzlee get on her like she riding her. This was our best option to make it look like she was actually riding a unicorn. Kenzlee was confused and unsure of why were doing this. You can tell by her face in a couple of the bloopers, she was not too sure about it.

When Kenzlee got the see the Imagination Portrait she said "Mommy I didn't ride a unicorn" hahaha

Isn't amazing what you can do with a little creativity and imagination? I absolutely love creating Imagination Portraits. It is so much fun for me and the kids. The kids get something unique to them and their interests. And it is something they can not get anywhere else.
