Hello again!!
Glad to see you back! I am excited to keep this series of product spotlights going.
In case you missed it, to start this series I wrote a blog post going over the different products you can use for your portraits. You can read that here: PRODUCT OPTIONS FOR YOU AND YOUR HOME. Last week's SPOTLIGHT was FRAMED PRINTS; you can read about those here: PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT: FRAMED PRINTS
Today we get to look at canvas prints!
I love canvas prints. I think it is the artist in me. I have always wanted to grab a canvas and some paints and go to town painting something amazing. I never have and definitely do not have the skills to pull it off. However, I can create a beautiful image or portrait to put on one ;)
Canvas prints are a great way to make a big impact. They are gorgeous and can be displayed large or small.
Canvas prints most often have the portrait or image wrapped over the edges. Some labs have the option of putting black or white along the edges so all of your portrait can be on the front. This is nice for portraits that are cropped in really tight, that you don't want to lose any of it on the sides.
You can see the black and white edge examples below.
Some labs may even allow you to add a float frame to your canvas. Adding a black frame to a canvas can make the portrait pop. You can see an example below.
How gorgeous is that? Canvas prints are already beautiful but that frame adds something a little special.
Another great thing about canvas' is you can get them in all kids of sizes just like a framed print. My lab even allows custom sizes for them.
